🛜 Is there WiFi available?
The cottages are a total digital detox—no WiFi and no cell reception. However, if you absolutely must connect, there is WiFi available at the farm's main reception area.
🚗 Can a sedan (like a VW Polo) handle the road?
Yes. I’ve done the trip several times in my Polo. Just a heads-up: make sure your car is in good shape, checking your oil and tires before you leave the tarmac.
🛞 What should I do if I get a flat tire?
Make sure your spare tire is properly inflated before you hit the gravel, and take it slow. If you run into trouble, Tyremart in Clanwilliam is the closest shop, but they close at 12:00 PM on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. You can also ask at the farm reception for assistance. Bear in mind that the entire area has limited cell phone reception!
🍺 Where can I buy ice, beer, or snacks?
No need to drive back to town! You can buy wine, beer, and ice directly at the Enjo reception. They even have a Yoco card machine, so you don't need to worry about carrying extra cash.
🪵 Is there braai wood available on-site?
Yes, you can buy braai wood right there at the farm. No need to cram extra bags of wood into your car.
🏊 Is there a pool or a spot to cool off?
Yes. There is a great farm dam right near the reception area where you can chill out and go for a swim. It’s the perfect way to beat the heat after a day of exploring or just to relax and enjoy the silence of the farm.
